Manuel’s Food Market was founded in 1924 by Manuel Sanchez, and has been family owned and operated ever since! The mission of Manuel’s Food Market (MFM) is to: Build and nurture community, serve as a meeting place for our neighborhood, introduce healthy lifestyle choices for youth and community, and to support continuing education to build skills for local regeneration. Our objectives are to nurture and build a healthy community by making local produce available to the residents and community through partnering with local farmers (BTCSA) to bring the freshest, local, produce to the store.  We hope to offer the youth healthy choices after school to build healthy habits and empower mothers to feed the most nutritious foods to their children. MFM will also collaborate to create  future partnerships to strengthen and regenerate the Martineztown community, where skills can be learned and passed on to fuel resilience in the community.
